My Role as DOP and 1st AC

Taking on the roles of Director of Photography and First Assistant Camera gave me two very different but equally valuable perspectives on set. As DOP, I was responsible for shaping the visual language of the film - thinking about lighting, framing, designing shots and thinking about how each shot supported the story. As First AC, I focused more on the technical side, especially pulling focus. Each role came with its own challenges, but both taught me a lot about how visuals are crafted and how vital teamwork is behind the scenes.
